A lifelong lover of music, he got his first pair of turntables in '98.  His passion's first outlet, though, was in producing sample-based hiphop, spending years digging through records and finding funky, soulful, or unique sounds to find new contexts for.  He got into DJ'ing by playing music he loved at house parties in college, then Minneapolis & Chicago, and eventually out in Chicago's Wicker Park bar scene. Over time this turned from a part-time affair to full-time profession.  He DJs large & small rooms, bars & clubs, private & corporate events, always adapting to the environment & crowd.  He can play a wide variety of genres, including pop/top-40, hiphop, house, EDM, funk/soul, disco, r&b, and loves to play sets that span a wide musical spectrum.  He offers the unique combination of talent, taste and experience that is sometimes hard to find in the current landscape where seemingly anybody can be a DJ.
